So I’m just about to pack my school bag and head in for the start of our Wedding Buffet cooking! We did a little prep yesterday afternoon as there were some things that needed doing a day ahead. I made the Pate a Pates pastry for our Raised Pie and Jon made some Bread Rolls that will be served up with the whole spread. We also finalised how our dishes will be presented and displayed and chose the plates and hardware for that. It was also crucial to nail down our time plan for this afternoon in-order that we achieve our goals. There is a lot to get done in the time we have this afternoon but it’s definitely achievable and we just need to execute!

This morning we had quite a busy package of dishes to complete. Making fresh Pasta, getting things on the go for a White Chocolate Roulade and also butterflying a leg of Lamb – it was a good solid start to the week! 🙂 Read the rest of this entry
