Day 13 – Bake Your Hearts Out!

This was always going to be a sweet day and our bounty did not disappoint! The only non-sweet items were our bread rolls but aside from them we made our Tarte Frangipane filling, rustled up a Creme Asphodele or Simply Lemon Mousse, Blueberry, and Chocolate Muffins and Creme Renversee au Caramel that we’ll finish off on Monday. First Day of School!

So this was it. This was the day I had been waiting for since submitting my application all those months ago. Yes I packed my bag last night and double checked it again this morning. Yes I put out what I would wear. Yes I woke up several times during the night and about half an hour before my alarm way due to go off but I knew it was all part of the journey!
